where the wild things are MOVIE?
hmm... not sure how they can make a full-length movie based on the book, but here's a trailer. i guess you can't go wrong with The Arcade Fire setting the tone. we'll see how the movie goes.

i saw the trailer on tv the other day and it looked great...i always loved the book so i hope they don't ruin it!
i didn't know that spike jonze was doing it. that's cool. i bet it'll be good - albeit different from the book.
I had heard about this a while ago, so, every night when E and I read this (almost every night), I try to think of how you could turn it into 2 hours. The preview looks like they're doing what I figured, which is to make a story about his home life and why he would leave, etc... I actually think they could make this really cool.
i hope they make it cool! i love the book and i can see ruining it...but, hopefully i'm wrong.
